Nye Hjorten Teater is a brand new, privately owned theatre in the heart of Trondheim city centre.

Nye Hjorten Teater opened its doors on 15 January 2025. They offer musicals, shows, folk comedies, farces, family performances and classic dramas. And the curtain will rise for both newly written works and well-known titles.

The ambition is crystal clear: At Nye Hjorten Teater, there will be a Saturday atmosphere all week, and they will always exceed expectations. They believe in the power of physical experiences in a digital world – being present in the moment, together.
