For over 30 years, Jaga Jazzist has been one of the country’s most groundbreaking and visionary bands, a group that consistently looks ahead and remains in a state of continuous musical evolution. With an explosive blend of post-rock, jazz, electronica, and psychedelic soundscapes, Jaga Jazzist has always stayed one step ahead.

They last performed at Jazzfest in 1999, on the Blue Garden stage at the Royal Garden Hotel. A great deal has happened since 1999, and even since their 2020 appearance at Byscenen, where they showcased their latest album Pyramid. Now, they are back in the spotlight with fresh material, and they will be performing plenty of new music when we fill Byscenen on May 7, 2027.

Renowned for their hypnotic live performances and elaborate light shows, the audience can look forward to a concert where Jaga Jazzist continues to push boundaries, drawing from a rich tapestry of musical inspiration and improvisation. The future looks bright.
