FOKUS: Electric Improvisation with Val Jeanty

Val Jeanty is a Haitian composer, drummer, and record spinner, and teaches at Berklee College of Music. She brings African-Haitian traditions to her work, and her main work is Afro-electronica, or Vodou-Electro. This workshop on electronic improvisation focuses on the concepts of Cymatics and synesthesia. 

Students are welcome and encouraged to participate and play with these concepts as a guide for creative discovery and deeper listening.
