With two GRAMMY awards from 16 nominations, multiple international awards and a career spanning over twenty-five years, the New York Times called Kurt Elling “The standout male jazz vocalist of our time”. He has has a 14-year run atop the DownBeat Critics and Readers polls, and has won twelve Jazz Journalists Awards for “Male Vocalist of the Year”. With accreditations like these, from both critics and the audience, one can safely applaud Elling as the best male jazz vocalist of our time. And now he’s finally returning to Trondheim! 

Elling is known internationally for his unparalleled virtuosity and flair for trailblazing artistic exploration. From his stunning reinvention of timeless standards to his own captivating original songcraft, the Chicago-based musician has become more ambitious over the years.
