This year marks the 100th anniversary of the groundbreaking German silent movie Dr. Caligari's Cabinet. Cinemateket celebrates the film that kickstarted German film expressionism in the 1920s with screenings of the newly restored 4K version and silent film concert. 

Pianist and composer Joakim Rainer Petersen is a young and fresh voice from NTNU Jazzlinja. He has already made a name for himself in bands such as Seul Adore, ØyvindLAND and Goose Green 3. The music for Dr. Caligari's Cabinet is Joakim's own mix of new compositions and parts with free improvisation - a world premiere we look forward to!
