Jazzfest 2026 is over, and it was a week we will have in our memory for a long time! The festival opened with a sold out Olavshallen with the legendary Jan Garbarek Group feat. Trilok Gurtu and closed with a sold out Byscenen with Nils Petter Molvær and the masterpiece HMER. 

Throughout the week, we have held over 50 events and presented four world premieres, three of which have been commissioned by the festival. The program has been very diverse, including 39 concerts, 17 free events and eight film screenings. We were also able to enjoy nearly full houses all week, including eight sold-out concerts! We hope you have had many great experiences! 

This year we also hosted the Artistic Exchange Program, where we welcomed an international delegation of 45 members of the Europe Jazz Network from over 20 European countries. The delegation got to experience a wide range of musicians from both Norway and Trøndelag throughout the week. 🎶
