ECM is one of the most influential European record labels for jazz and contemporary music, and the film "Sounds and Silence" follows producer and entrepreneur Manfred Eicher on his travels around the world and shows how he works to find the perfect sound.

There will be a Q&A after with musician Anja Lechner, who is portrayed in the film, in conversation with Audun Vinger. There will also be a tour of Øra Studio, one of the city's most important recording studios.
