Diket

With their melancholic, poetic and innovative approach to Nordic folk music, Diket has established themselves as a band to follow closely.

Diket consists of musicians from projects such as Benedikt, Ævestaden and Hey Gloria, and combines Nordic folk music with modern indie aesthetics. Their sound is melancholic and detailed, and particularlystrongly conveyed.

The music is described as beautiful and mournful, where everyday life, nature and human longing are intertwined in an expression that is both timeless and innovative. The band's debut EP Och sen kom vinternwon a Swedish Grammis in the category Folk Music of the Year, and the band became one of the spring's talking points after their concert at Ulven Scene during Trondheim Calling in February.

The expression is both vulnerable and monumental, and is perfectly suited to the intimate atmosphere at Moskus. You will be able to experience Diket up close in a space where lyrics, dynamics and presence areallowed to shine.
