🎸 One man, ten fingers. Guitar guru Tommy Emmanuel is coming to Olavshallen this fall!

Australian Tommy Emmanuel is widely known for his virtuoso treatment of the acoustic guitar. With his genuine fingerpicking, he is a one-man band that plays the melody, the chords and the bass. His energetic and engaging stage presence are unique - Emmanuel never does the same show twice, and he improvises large parts of his concerts. 

Emmanuel er one of only five musicians handpicked by Chet Atkins as a "Certified Guitar Player" (CGP). He has collected a wide range of awards - including one Grammy and two nominations, a number of industry awards and countless top rankings in various guitar magazines around the world. 

Special guest on this tour is British Mike Dawis, who is hailed as one of the world's most creative modern fingerstyle guitarists. He is known for composing, arranging and performing several parts simultaneously on one instrument. Mike Dawis' repertoire ranges from several critically acclaimed solo albums, and collaborations with artists such as Justin Hayward, Tommy Emmanuel and Alestorm. He is also a respected music educator as a columnist for "Guitar World" and "Acoustic Guitar" in addition to holding guitar workshops worldwide.
