ØKSE is a new, uncompromising band where four of the most prominent voices in today's international avant-jazz meet. They have a common, raw and unpredictable expression where the boundaries between improvisation, groove, hip-hop and club flow into each other.

ØKSE builds their music on spontaneity, friction and precision. Rasmussen is known for creating both energetic and brutal sound spaces. Eldh is one of Europe's most sought-after bassists, who combines heavy groove and sharp rhythms. Jeanty brings his unique mix of turntablism, electronics and Haitian vodou-inspired rhythms, while Harris is one of the most forward-thinking drummers in New York; powerful, listening and always in motion.
