Bakke kirke

Bakke church is an octagonal church in lathed timber on Møllenberg, just east of Trondheim city center. It was completed in 1715 and was originally named Anne Dorothea Church after Bishop Peder Krog's wife. The church has a baroque feel with a high spire. Together with the Hospital Church, this is one of the few well-preserved buildings from the early 18th century in Trondheim, where fires and alterations have changed the rest of the city's character.
